Richard joined Rohm and Rohm CPAs in 1993. As a Partner in the firm, his responsibilities include preparing tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts, financial statement preparation, and daily management of the firm. Richard's expertise is in serving the needs of small businesses, nonprofits, family owned businesses, and trusts.
Richard earned a B.A. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from California State University, Fullerton. He also earned a M.S. in Taxation from Golden Gate University.
Richard is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is an active member at St. John’s Lutheran Church where he also serves as a Preschool Sunday School teacher. Richard is a past treasurer and member of the Rotary Club of Orange, and has served as treasurer for numerous churches through the years.
In March 2015 Richard was unanimously approved by the City Council of the City of Orange to serve as the Treasurer for the City of Orange. He was re-elected in November of 2016.
In November of 2017 Richard was unanimously re-appointed by the Orange County Board of Supervisors to the Treasury Oversight Committee for his second term.
In his free time, Richard enjoys spending time with his family.
